Applications are being taken now for NPR's 2018 Story Lab Workshop that will be held in May in Washington, D.C.

This is a four-day workshop designed to help teams in the development of audio storytelling projects.

George Bodarky Returns to the PRNDI Board

After spending eight years on the Public Radio News Directors Inc. board, including two terms as president of PRNDI, George Bodarky accepted an invitation from current President Terry Gildea to return to the board. He will serve out the remaining year of Deanna Garcia’s term as an at-large representative.  Garcia resigned her post in September.  Bodarky says he is excited to be back on the board of directors.

In this interview, PRNDI's Small Station Representative Johnathan Reaves talks with NPR's Bureau Chief for the Western United States, Phyllis Fletcher.  She talks about why editing is important, what makes a good editor, and her excitement for her new position.  

She also told Reaves after the interview that she was excited about the "regional hubs" proposal from NPR and believes it will because "I think it has potential to be helpful to everyone--our audiences most of all!"
