Leo C. Lee

The PRNDI Board of Directors is pleased to announce the 2018 recipient of the Leo C. Lee award.  This year’s honoree is Keith Woods, NPR’s Vice President for Newsroom Training and Diversity.  Woods’ work in leadership training, storytelling and diversity is known throughout the journalism world.    

The PRNDI Board is pleased to announce the 2015 recipient of the Leo C. Lee award. 

The name of this year’s winner is synonymous with public radio. Tanya Ott’s contributions to the industry are many-fold.

Each year, PRNDI honors an individual or organization that has made significant contributions to public radio news.  The award is named in honor of its first recipient: Leo C. Lee, the founder of Western Public Radio, a San Francisco-based public radio training program.
