Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting Corporation (“PCBC”) is an independent public media organization, home to news/journalism via WESA 90.5FM and adult alternative music via WYEP 91.3FM.


  The Data Reporter researches and creates news content based on the collection and interpretation of data. Content will appear online at and for broadcast via reported stories, interviews, or debriefs. The Data Reporter also works with the station’s Digital News Editor on the presentation of all WUNC digital news content.

The Data Reporter reports to the News Director. The position is based at the station’s downtown Durham office.

A Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of journalism experience is required.

  The Daily News Producer produces spots and copy for WUNC’s local newscasts. S/he is responsible for the timeliness and quality of local newscasts. The Daily News Producer is the station’s “first line of defense” in making sure important news stories get on the air in a timely fashion. The position includes working closely with the station's anchor/hosts. The Daily News Producer also fills in as a substitute host and newscaster. 

The Daily News Producer reports to the Managing Editor. The position is based at the station’s Chapel Hill office.
