WBHM Seeks A Host/Reporter

WBHM in Birmingham is looking for a news host and reporter. 

You’ll be responsible for hosting one of their flagship news programs – either Morning Edition from 5 – 9 a.m. or All Things Considered and Marketplace from 3 – 7 p.m.

The “Producer” part of the job entails researching, reporting and producing NPR-style, in-depth, local stories which air on Morning Edition and All Things Considered and online at wbhm.org. Participation in on-air pledge drives and occasional fill-in work will also be required.

Join the award winning, innovative, fast paced news team at NET (Nebraska Public Radio and Television) as the host of Morning Edition. In addition to being radio host for Morning Edition, which includes running the board, doing live interviews, weather and promos, this full-time reporter will be part of our 8-person multi-media news team (NET News) creating cross platform news stories for radio, web and television.

The Morning Edition host provides continuity during KBBI morning programs, reads local morning newscasts and operates/troubleshoots the automation system. Works with news director to produce news content for air and for the web. 

WGCU Public Media in Fort Myers, Florida is looking for a talented journalist to join its award-winning news team. 

This multi-platform journalist for radio, web and occasionally for TV could also occasionally host a weekly call-in talk show, Morning Edition and All Things Considered as needed.
