KOSU Radio seeks a forward-thinking person to serve as the All Things Considered host and Operations Manager for KOSU from its Oklahoma City studios.

The News Director (ND) leads the planning, production and presentation of news. The ND supervises news staff and contributors. The ND also serves a community engagement function to connect with and inform the KCBX audience.


The ND reports to the program director and works in cooperation with station staff to support the station’s on-and off-air community information efforts. The ND assists with news programming decisions and news operations.

You will have the opportunity to cover breaking news and on-going local stories; produce spot-news reports and multi-platform in-depth feature-length pieces for local and national broadcast; and provide live reports from the field as needed. Minimum qualifications are Bachelors Degree and two years of related experience. Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or equivalent with one year of newsroom experience.
