WRVO Public Media, serving an extensive geographical area of upstate New York including the cities of Syracuse, Oswego, Utica, and Watertown among others, seeks an accomplished radio professional to serve as Station Manager, a new position that is part of a succession plan at the General Manager level. 

KUHF, the NPR station for Houston, is hiring for the newly created position of Managing Editor. KUHF seeks a smart, cool-headed, hands-on editor to guide daily news assignments, review reporter stories and coordinate coverage within our growing, multi-platform, public media station.

This position is responsible for the creation of policies, practices and the placement of public
affairs content on WFYI’s multiple content platforms from internal departments and external content providers. Those platforms include (and other future mobile platforms), radio and television. This position will also generate ideas and produce original content for those platforms.

Hosts local content aired during daily programming of "Morning Edition"; creates news content for radio and website.

•    Serve as regular WFYI host for "Morning Edition"
•    Announce weather, station identification, time, traffic, underwriting announcements and promotional announcements during breaks in and between programs.

Inside Energy North Dakota Reporter

   Inside Energy is the new local journalism center that will serve in-depth, research-based energy reporting to public media regionally and nationally.

   The North Dakota-based reporter will develop both geographic knowledge and sources as well as an area of topical expertise that can serve the broader regional and national mission.   The reporter will work out of our Bismarck studio.
