Southern Stations - Next Regional Training Coming to YOU!

PRNDI's second regional training will be in Atlanta September 15-16, 2008.  To nominate a reporter or get more information, contact Julianne Welby (juliannewelby@yahoo.com).

Our pilot regional training was at Chicago Public Radio in April 2008. We're seeking host stations in the west and northeast for sessions in 2009.

PRNDI News Director Guide

Phase one of this exciting new project will be unveiled at the PRNDI Conference in Washington D.C.  There will be opportunity for PRNDI members to see the progress, ask questions, and give input on the future directions we go in completion of the guide.  Past PRNDI President Michael Marcotte has made great progress on the on-line guide that will be a constantly evolving resource for PRNDI members use for years to come. The project is the result of a partnership between PRNDI and NPR's Local News Initative.

PRNDI is contributing ongoing programmatic and content expertise to The Public Radio Exchange.  The current PRX News Curator is PRNDI Board Member Julianne Welby.

NPR's Local News Initiative

This NPR funded project includes many facets, some of which include involvement and support of PRNDI and its members.  All of them have the potential to help PRNDI members improve their product and better serve their audiences.  Check out LNI's web site  for more information.
