RIPR Seeks Chief Progress Officer

RIPR, with our strong reputation, exceptional public service journalism, award-winning staff and board of Rhode Island’s most influential civic leaders, is searching for a Chief Progress Officer (CPO) to help build our vision for vital growth in services and impact, generate substantial revenues from traditional and emerging sources, and maximize our position in the philanthropic community, corporate sponsorship circles and among local, national, and international foundations.

Reporting to the President/CEO, in partnership with the Board of Directors, the CPO will spearhead all entrepreneurial and traditional revenue production efforts as RIPR continues on its steep growth path.  The CPO will be responsible for overseeing the Director of Philanthropy and Stewardship, Membership Manager, Underwriting Manager (who oversees one Account Executive) and the Database Manager.

The Long View:

The CPO impacts RIPR’s institutional growth and its progress on numerous fronts. The CPO is co-architect and primary driver of the implementation plan that insures the successful attainment of institutional milestones. This positon also communicates progress internally to staff and board, to stakeholders, and to the public.
