Montana State University Billings (MSUB) seeks an experienced, energetic leader for Yellowstone Public Radio (YPR), the NPR station serving Southern Montana including Billings and Bozeman, and reaching into Northern Wyoming.

The next General Manager will be externally focused and effective at helping grow programming and external community presence, while helping develop and maintain effective staff and organizational structure and processes.

Yellowstone Public Radio is located on a beautiful tree lined street on the Montana State University Billings university campus.  The YPR station has recently been remodeled inside and out making it a most inviting work atmosphere for employees and a welcoming feel for donors and visitors.  The remodel included a new recording studio along with myriad technical updates.

YPR Maintains 10 transmitters and 26 translators across Montana and Northern Wyoming.  Has an average audience of almost 50,000 listeners a week from a population base of over 300,000 people.  Streams an average of 22,000 hours of audio to 16,000 visitors to each month
