The Executive Director will be able to work virtually from any location. Must be bilingual - English and Spanish.
LPRC's Executive promotes Latino public media and serves as a resource to the Board and the larger community. As the public face and spokesperson of LPRC, the Executive will need to possess in-depth understanding of issues confronting Latino public Media and will need to possess the ability to clearly articulate the "vision" for LPRC, that "public media become the main resource for Latino community empowerment, civic engagement and cultural relevance."
The LPRC Executive Director is responsible for maintaining the status of LPRC as a leading voice and resource in support of Latino public media.In order to build a strong and influential organization, a key priority must be to increase and diversify revenue streams. LPRC - under the leadership of its Executive - must demonstrate the proven value of LPRC and its programs to Latino public media and other interested stakeholders.
This position is hands on and will require the Executive to not only think strategically, but to be fully in charge of execution as well. The Executive is expected to use their own talents as well as work together with volunteers, independent contractors and future staff members to ensure all areas are operating at peak efficiency.
