KMUW Seeks TWO Reporters

Aug 1, 2017

KMUW seeks two enterprise News Reporters: 1) to cover General Assignments stories and Education News; 2) to cover Energy & Environment News stories, in Wichita and Kansas. (See descriptions below.) KMUW seeks always to report news with integrity, fairness, accuracy and civility. These positions will tell stories through the diversity of voices that make up all of Wichita and Kansas by generating content for KMUW in the greater Wichita area, as well as for the Kansas collaborative of public radio stations.

The Wichita area is an inexpensive, welcoming place to settle, raise a family and enjoy working in public radio. The station is located in the heart of downtown Wichita’s historic and vital Old Town warehouse district. Check out our new digs—as well as our recent awards. KMUW is a friendly cross between Google and W-K-R-P (… without the bean bags or Les Nessman). It’s a great place to work, live and play!

Anyone interested in both positions must actually apply for both separately through the Wichita State University links below.
