Business Manager

Christine Paige Diers is the Business Manager for PRNDI.  She's worked for PRNDI part-time since 1997, and has become known to many in the organization as "Ma PRNDI."  Christine's day job is as Director of the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame in Sturgis, South Dakota (yes, really).  In a former life, Christine was a public radio news director in Grand Forks, North Dakota, then worked in public relations for city government and for a business incubator.

North Carolina Public Radio, WUNC-FM, the public radio station licensed to the University of North Carolina, seeks a full time Assistant News Director for Talk. 

North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC, the public radio station licensed to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is hiring a full-time producer to join the staff of its daily radio show The Story with Dick Gordon. A successful candidate will help WUNC bring a fresh sound to public radio and creative ways to grow our audience.

The Station Manager/Host provides oversight of the daily operations of WACG, including administration, personnel, budget, locally originated programming, and promotions all in the interest of best serving the needs of the Greater Augusta community.  This includes planning, producing, and coordinating locally originated programming, as well as managing that programming with the guidance of the Director of Radio of Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB). The Station Manager/Host also collaborates with the greater Augusta community, including the University to insure the community is being appropriately reflected within GPB’s programming on WACG.

Join the award winning, innovative, fast paced news team at NET (Nebraska Public Radio and Television) as the host of Morning Edition. In addition to being radio host for Morning Edition, which includes running the board, doing live interviews, weather and promos, this full-time reporter will be part of our 8-person multi-media news team (NET News) creating cross platform news stories for radio, web and television.

Jonathan Ahl has informed the PRNDI Board that he is no longer serving as News Director of Iowa Public Radio, and therefore has submitted his resignation as PRNDI Board President effective immediately.

The PRNDI Board has since named PRNDI small station representative, George Bodarky, as the organization’s Acting President until the board election on June 30th. George is the News and Public Affairs Director at WFUV FM in New York.  He has been serving as PRNDI’s Training Committee Chair since joining the PRNDI Board in 2008.
